Islamabad: Punjab topped the medal table in the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games.
According to the performance so far in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games organized by the Pakistan Sports Board, Punjab has maintained its superiority by winning the most medals.
At the Games, Punjab athletes won a total of 116 medals including 53 gold, 40 silver and 23 bronze medals, which is the most for any event.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has won 51 medals with 10 gold, 17 silver and 24 bronze medals, while Sindh has won 11 gold, 13 silver and 19 bronze medals and won third position with 43 medals in total.
In the inter-provincial games, Balochistan has won 12 gold, 10 silver and 17 bronze medals while Islamabad leads with 5 gold, 6 silver and 26 bronze medals.
Athletes from Azad Jammu and Kashmir have won one gold, 4 silver and 12 bronze medals, while Gilgit-Baltistan has bagged 2 gold and 8 bronze medals so far.
According to DG Pakistan Sports Board, a total of 313 medals have been distributed, including 92 gold, 92 silver and 129 bronze medals.
