ATC adjourned hearing of GHQ attack case till Jan 6


Rawalpindi: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has indicted another accused named in the May 9 GHQ attack case.
ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah indicted former MNA Bilal Ahmed through his pleader. The court gave the deadline till 3:00pm to the other two accused named in the case.
On the other hand, the decision was reserved on the request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Fawad Chaudhry, and Omar Ayub to provide CCTV footage. The court will pronounce the decision on all three requests today.
Anti-Terrorism Court adjourned the hearing of the GHQ attack case till January 6.
Former MPA Latasib Satti filed a petition to go to Umrah, but the court rejected his petition due to incomplete information.
It is pertinent to note that a few days ago, the Military Court also sentenced 25 accused involved in the May 9 incidents. The US, UK, and the European Union have expressed reservations over the sentence handed down by the Military Court.
