Intense fog: Motorways closed in various places

Lahore: Motorways were closed at various places due to heavy fog.

According to Syed Imran Ahmed, Motorway Police Spokesperson, Motorway M4 from Gojra to Multan, Motorway M5 from Multan to Rohri, and Motorway M1 from Rashkai to Burhan were closed due to fog.

The Motorway Police Spokesperson said that Motorway M3 was closed from Samundri to Darkhana, Motorway M4 from Gojra to Multan, and Motorway M4 from Abdul Hakeem to Khanewal.

The Motorway Police Spokesperson further said that motorways are closed to ensure public safety and safe travel. Citizens should prefer to travel during daylight hours as much as possible. The best travel times during fog are from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

The motorway spokesman stated that drivers should use front and rear fog lights. The public should avoid unnecessary travel, avoid high speeds, and keep a reasonable distance from the vehicle in front.
