Due to snowfall, land route to upper areas of Astore has also been cut off

Skardu: The cold weather continues to be severe in various cities of the country.
Snowfall has been continuing in Skardu since yesterday, due to which the mercury has dropped to -13 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest area in the country.
Due to snowfall, the land route to the upper areas of Astore has also been cut off.
On the other hand, tourists continue to arrive in the Neelum Valley of Azad Kashmir after snowfall, while severe cold is also prevailing in the northern districts of Balochistan.
According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures have been recorded as low as -6 degrees in Quetta and Ziarat. Fog also reigns in Punjab.
