Flight was brought back to Karachi 43 minutes after takeoff

Karachi: A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Karachi to Gwadar suffered a technical fault after takeoff, forcing a technical landing in Karachi.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the flight departed from Karachi for Gwadar at 8:13am, but after some time, the pilot reported a technical fault in the plane’s engine.
A PIA spokesperson said that the pilot informed the air traffic controller about the technical fault in the plane and was brought back to Karachi 43 minutes after takeoff.
According to the spokesperson, the plane is being inspected at Karachi Airport, while the flight will be sent back to Gwadar as soon as clearance is received from the engineering department.
