Price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs1,000

Karachi: The price of gold has increased in the local and international markets on new year.
According to All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA), the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs1,000 on Wednesday to Rs273,600 in local bullion market.
Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams also increased by Rs857 to Rs234,568.
On the other hand, the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market increased by $10, bringing the new global price to $2,624.
