Cold grips country, temperature in Astore hits -3

Astore: The cold wave continues to rage across the country.

According to the International Meteorological Website, the temperature in Astore was recorded at -3 degrees Celsius in the early morning, and -2 degrees Celsius in Skardu.

Faisalabad recorded 5, Sialkot 6, Rawalpindi 7, Multan 8, Lahore recorded 9, while Karachi recorded 10 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and snowfall on the mountains are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjacent hilly areas.
