Crude oil prices rise by 2pc in global market

Moscow: The price of crude oil in the global market has increased by 2 percent.
Brent crude oil has crossed 76 dollars per barrel after several weeks.
During trading, WTI crude oil was sold at $73.31.
It is pertinent to note that on the arrival of the New Year in Pakistan, the government has increased the price of petrol and diesel.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been increased by rs0.56 and high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs2.96.
After the increase in prices, the new price of petrol has become Rs252.66 per liter and the new price of high-speed diesel has become Rs258.34 per liter.
