Martyred police personnel were on their way to duty when they were fired upon


Lakki Marwat: A firing incident on police personnel took place within the limits of Ghaznikhel police station in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as a result of which two police personnel were martyred, while the accused managed to escape.
According to the police, the martyred police personnel were on their way to duty when they were fired upon.
DPO Lakki Marwat said that the bodies of the police personnel have been shifted to DHQ Hospital and action has been initiated to arrest the accused.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the incident of terrorists firing on police personnel near Lakki Marwat and paid tribute to the police personnel who lost their lives.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyred police personnel and said that they salute the sacrifice of the martyred police personnel, and stand with the families of the martyrs in this hour of sorrow.
