10 passport processing counters have been set up in Nazimabad and Siemens Chowrangi sites

Karachi: Following the orders of the Federal Interior Minister, the facility of issuing passports has been provided for 24 hours a day throughout the week in NADRA mega centers in Karachi.
According to the details, the Passport Department has started implementing the orders of the Interior Minister and 10 passport processing counters have been set up in Nazimabad and Siemens Chowrangi sites in Karachi. These counters set up in NADRA mega centers will provide 24-hour facilities to citizens.
DG Immigration and Passports Mustafa Jamal Qazi said that the scope of 24/7 passport processing counters is being expanded across the country and the office established in Islamabad has already been made 24/7.
He stated that the offices of Awami Markaz in Karachi and Garden Town in Lahore are also open 24 hours, which will enable the public to process passports at any time.
DG Immigration and Passports further said that the issue of delay in issuing passports has now been completely resolved and an easy process and timely issuance is being ensured for the citizens. Now citizens can visit NADRA mega centers to obtain passports at any time, which will reduce their difficulties and further improve travel facilities.
