Diplomat was second secretary of German Embassy


Islamabad: The body of a foreign diplomat was found in an apartment located in the Diplomatic Enclave in the federal capital.
According to police officials, the body has been identified as Thomas Filder, Second Secretary of the German Embassy.
Police say that the body has been shifted to the hospital for postmortem and the investigation into the matter is ongoing. The cause of the diplomat’s death will be determined after the postmortem report.
Police officials say that the German Embassy has also been informed about the diplomat’s death.
According to police, the German diplomat had previously suffered a minor heart attack. When he did not reach the office for two days, the German Embassy broke down the door of the aprtment and found the diplomat dead.
