Dhaka: A Bangladeshi court issued arrest warrants for former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid.
According to a foreign news agency, a Bangladeshi court issued arrest warrants for Hasina Wajid for the second time.
The chief prosecutor says that the court issued warrants for 11 people, including Hasina Wajid, and their alleged involvement in enforced disappearances.
It is pertinent to note that Hasina Wajid fled Bangladesh last year after intense public protests and went to India, while her warrants have been issued before on charges of crimes against humanity.
