Traffic flow on national highways was severely affected due to low visibility
Lahore: Fog prevailed in various cities of the country and due to low visibility, motorways were closed at several places, causing severe difficulties for passengers.
Motorway M3 was closed for traffic from Lahore to Rajana, entry was prohibited on M4 from Shorkot to Multan, and entry on Motorway M5 was also closed from Multan to Rohri. Traffic flow on national highways was severely affected due to low visibility.
The intensity of cold weather also continued in various cities of the country. There was a possibility of fog in Razhi, Islamabad, Murree, Galiat, and the upper areas. Partly cloudy weather was predicted in the northwestern districts of Balochistan, and bitter cold prevailed in the upper areas.
The mercury dropped to -10 in Leh, Astor, Gopis, and Skardu, and -6 in Bagrot, Kalam, and Gilgit.
