Thousands of firefighters, hundreds of fire engines, water tankers, and 60 aircraft were working to control worst fire


Los Angeles: The fire in the American city of Los Angeles has been controlled only 11 percent after six days, and experts estimate that it may take several weeks to completely extinguish the fire.
According to a foreign news agency, 24 people have died and 16 are missing due to the devastating fire, while the death toll is expected to rise further.
According to US media, thousands of firefighters, hundreds of fire engines, water tankers, and 60 aircraft were working to control the worst fire in the forests of Los Angeles last Tuesday, but even after six days, the fire has not been controlled.
A foreign news agency reported that the largest fire in the Pacific Palisades has been controlled by 11 percent so far and the fire in Eaton has been controlled by 27 percent.
Experts have warned that it may take several weeks to completely control the fire, while experts have also issued a warning of strong winds from Monday to Wednesday.
The fire, which has been raging for six days, has reduced everything in an area of 40,000 acres to ashes. 150,000 people have left the city and another 160,000 have been warned of evacuation.
More than 50,000 residents are without electricity. Damage has been estimated at more than $150 billion, and looting is also ongoing in empty houses of the affected area.
