Gujarat: Storms and torrential rains wreaked havoc in Gujarat city and surrounding areas of Punjab province.

According to details, sex people lost their lives in incidents related to roof collapse and falling of sign boards and trees due to strong winds. Among the dead include two men and four women.
Rescue sources revealed that a man was killed when a signboard fell on him in the area of Lari Ada while a woman was killed when a tree fell in the Green Town area.
Two people, including a woman, were killed when a signboard fell on Machli Chowk while a wall of a house collapsed on Sessions Court Road, leaving two girls dead.
The rains caused water to accumulate on roads and low-lying areas. In addition, different cities of Punjab including Lahore, Gujranwala, Jhelum witnessed power outages as a result of tripping feeders.
