Washington: The preparations for the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, have been completed.

Donald Trump is going to take the oath of office as the 47th President of the United States today and preparations for his inauguration ceremony in Washington have been completed.

According to foreign media, the newly elected Vice President JD Vance will also take the oath of office today and will be present on stage with Donald Trump.

According to the report, the swearing-in ceremony is being held inside the Capitol Hill building due to the severe cold in Washington and the temperature is predicted to drop to -11 degrees Celsius.

Former US presidents to participate in ceremony

According to American media, outgoing President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will also participate in the swearing-in ceremony along with other important guests.

According to the report, former US Presidents George Bush, Barack Obama, and Bill Clinton will also participate in the swearing-in ceremony.

Foreign heads of state to attend

Among those attending the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Donald Trump are Argentine President Javier Mielli and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

In addition to former presidents and foreign heads of state, Trump's key aide and Tesla founder Elon Musk will also attend Donald Trump's swearing-in ceremony.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, social media site Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg, and Apple CEO Tim Cook will also attend the swearing-in ceremony.

Media reports have stated that Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also received an invitation to the swearing-in ceremony, while many Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders outside Pakistan are also expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
