Gas reserves have been discovered first time from Mari East Field in Rahim Yar Khan
Karachi: Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has claimed that new oil and gas reserves have been discovered in Sindh and Punjab provinces.
OGDCL has sent details of the oil and gas reserves discovered to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The letter written by the company said that multi-physiochemical stimulation technology was used for the first time in Pisakhi Oilfield VII in Hyderabad. With modern technology in Pisakhi Oilfield, crude oil production has increased from 375 barrels per day to 520 barrels, and crude oil production has increased by 145 barrels per day.
OGDCL said in the letter that gas reserves have been discovered for the first time from Mari East Field in Rahim Yar Khan. Two MMSCFD gas is transferred to Engro Fertilizer through a 14.5-kilometer pipeline.
