California: Instagram has introduced an app called ‘Edits’ that will help in editing videos.
Posting a video on Threads, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said that Edits is a free video editing app with multiple tools.
He stated that one tab is dedicated to inspiration, while the other tab tracks initial ideas, adding that the app's standard camera records good videos and all the editing tools are also available there.
According to Adam Mosseri, this app will be available to users in February. Currently, it is available for pre-order in the iOS App Store, while it will soon be available for Android devices.
Adam Mosseri said that the first version of the app will be incomplete and users will have to be patient.

Audio features to remove background noise, while artificial intelligence (AI) features will also be made part of the app.
Adam Mosseri did not explicitly refer to TikTok but spoke in veiled terms about the ban on this video-sharing app.
