It sought explanation from DIG Operations for not implementing order

Islamabad: The District and Sessions Courts, Islamabad, upheld the non-bailable arrest warrant of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and expressed anger over the non-compliance of the arrest warrant.
Senior Civil Judge Mubashir Hassan Chishti of the District and Sessions Courts heard the liquor and arms recovery case against Ali Amin. Advocate Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan appeared in the court on behalf of Ali Amin Gandapur.
The court rejected Gandapur’s request for exemption from attendance and said that he applies for exemption at every hearing, but does not produce the accused Ali Amin Gandapur.
The court upheld the non-bailable arrest warrant of Ali Amin and expressed anger over the non-compliance of the arrest warrant. The court sought an explanation from the DIG Operations for not implementing the order.
The lawyer of Ali Amin said: “You should first decide on the accused's acquittal application, there is a court order in this regard”. The judge remarked that you are only wasting the court's valuable time by granting exemption applications. The accused has been issued multiple warrants and the compliance report is not being submitted.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case, registered in Bara Kahu police station, till January 29.
