India and US administration identified 18,000 illegal Indian immigrants

Washington: United States President Donald Trump has decided to deport illegal immigrants.
According to Bloomberg, India will call back 18,000 Indians living illegally in the US as India wants to avoid a trade war with the Trump administration and improve relations.
Bloomberg says that India and the US administration have identified 18,000 illegal Indian immigrants and the number could be much higher.
On the other hand, the Donald Trump administration has suspended the plan to transfer 1,660 Afghans to the US.
According to the news agency, the US refugee program was suspended following the order of President Donald Trump.
The US government suspended the Afghan refugee program for at least four months. The families of US military personnel are also among the suspended Afghans.
The Trump administration's decision will affect orphaned children and families of US-led Afghan forces.
The Trump administration argues that the influx of refugees is putting pressure on local resources.
It is pertinent to note that Trump declared a national emergency on the southern border of the United States after taking the oath of office.
Donald Trump had said that previous governments could not solve domestic problems but continued to conduct expensive campaigns around the world and that his administration would ensure the security of the country's borders.
Trump stated: ‘We will send millions of illegal immigrants and criminals back to their countries, declare organized crime groups as foreign terrorists, and use the US military against these terrorist groups’.
