Barrister Gohar added that they will not support legislation in joint session of Parliament


Islamabad: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has announced that he will not support legislation in the joint session of Parliament.
Talking to the media upon reaching the Parliament House, Barrister Gohar said that the PTI founder had put the negotiations on hold. “We were sitting in the negotiations with an open heart. We had only made two demands. Seven days were enough for the commission but there was no progress”.
He stated that seven days were also enough for the announcement of the commission, they would reconsider but the government would announce the commission.
Barrister Gohar added that they will not support legislation in the joint session of Parliament. The government has put eight laws on its agenda, one is a law of 2021, five are from 2023 and two are from 2024, the 2021 law cannot be passed yet.
It is pertinent to note that while talking to the media outside Adiala Jail yesterday, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar said that the PTI founder has ended negotiations with the government, and there will be no fourth round of negotiations with the government until the formation of the commission.
