Charith Asalanka has been named captain of ODI Team of the Year


Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Men's One-Day International (ODI) Team of the Year.
The ODI Team of the Year includes three Pakistanis, four Sri Lankans, three Afghans, and one West Indies cricketer.
Pakistan's Saim Ayub, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf have been included in this team.
In addition, Afghanistan's Azmatullah Omarzai, Rehmanullah Garbaz, and AM Ghazanfar are part of this team.
Sri Lanka's Patham Nissanka, Kaushal Mendis, Charith Asalanka, Winandu Hasaranga, and West Indies' Sharfeen Rutherford have been included in the Team of the Year.
Charith Asalanka has been named the captain of the ODI Team of the Year while Kaushal Mendis has been named the wicketkeeper.
