Three terrorist were arrested from Rawalpindi and one from Lahore


Lahore: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested 10 terrorists during operations in different cities of Punjab.
According to the CTD spokesperson, 163 Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) were conducted in different cities of Punjab and 10 terrorists were arrested. The operations were carried out in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sheikhupura, Mianwali, Sargodha, and Faisalabad.
Three members of Fitna Al-Khawarij were arrested from Rawalpindi while one dangerous terrorist was arrested from Lahore. Explosive materials, an IBD bomb, 11 safety fuses, 22 feet of wire, pamphlets, and cash were recovered from the terrorists. The terrorists were identified as Hafiz Muhammad Rafiq, Akbar, Zainullah, Owais Ahmed, Ehsan, Sajjad, Luqman, and Nadeem.
CTD officials stated that the terrorists wanted to spread fear and panic among the public by carrying out operations at various places. During 2,893 combing operations this week, 736 suspects were arrested, and 111,849 people were questioned in combing operations. CTD is pursuing the goal of a safe Punjab and is determined to uproot the scourge of terrorism.
