Pneumonia was confirmed in 1,000 children in Civil Hospital from June to December


Islamabad: President of the Pakistan Pediatrics Association Dr Waseem Jamalvi says that pneumonia, respiratory tract infections, and other diseases are increasing in children.
In a conversation with a private news channel, Dr Waseem said that more than 4,000 cases of respiratory diseases were reported in the Civil Hospital from June to December.
According to Dr Waseem, pneumonia was confirmed in 1,000 children in the Civil Hospital from June to December.
The President of the Pakistan Pediatrics Association directed that children should be kept in warm clothes and protected from cold air, ensure fresh air in closed rooms, and inculcate the habit of washing hands frequently in children.
He stated that sick children should be avoided from sending them to school and focus on vaccination to prevent viral infections.
