Pakistan's aid has been halted until a re-evaluation

Like many countries, US officials have confirmed the suspension of aid to Pakistan and several important projects have been halted.
In recent days, the US has temporarily suspended almost all foreign aid programs. The suspended programs include aid programs for Ukraine, Taiwan, and Jordan. These aid programs were initially suspended for 90 days.
The State Department issued an order to all US diplomatic and consular missions, asking them to immediately suspend all aid programs and stop all work related to this matter.
However, now US officials have confirmed the suspension of aid to Pakistan, like other countries, after which several important projects have been halted.
According to a US official, Pakistan's aid has been halted until a re-evaluation.
The project under the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation has been temporarily suspended, while the US move has also halted five projects in the energy sector.
The US move has affected four programs related to economic growth and five in the agriculture sector, while funds related to democracy, human rights, and governance have also been temporarily suspended.
In addition, the US move has affected 11 programs in governance, four in the education sector, and four in the health sector.
US officials will decide to continue the programs after a re-evaluation.
