Rawalpindi: Security forces conducted an operation in North Waziristan and killed six Khawarij.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Department of the Pakistan Army, security forces conducted an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in the Mir Ali district of North Waziristan.
During the operation, six Khawarij were killed and two soldiers were martyred in a fierce exchange of fire, stated ISPR.
According to the ISPR, the martyrs include Major Hamza Israr and Sepoy Muhammad Naeem. Major Hamza Israr, 29, was from Rawalpindi and Sepoy Muhammad Naeem, 26, was from Naseerabad.
