Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad announces that first day of Sha'ban will be on January 31

The moon for the month of Sha'ban al-Mu'azzam 1446 Hijri has been sighted in Pakistan.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, led by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, confirmed the sighting.
The meeting was attended by zonal committee members and officials from relevant departments, who gathered testimonies from across the country.
After the meeting, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad announced that the first day of Sha'ban will be on January 31.
He also stated that Shab-e-Barat will be observed on Thursday, February 13.
