Washington plane crash: All 67 on board plane, helicopter killed

Washington: A passenger plane and a military chopper collided near Washington airport, killing all 67 people on board.

According to media reports, the American Airlines flight from Wichita and Kansas arrived in Washington, where the plane crashed near the runway over the Potomac River.

There were 64 people on board, including the crew, and three military personnel in the Black Hawk helicopter.

All 67 people on board the plane and the helicopter have been confirmed dead in the crash. Most of the bodies have been recovered from the river.

The Pentagon has launched an investigation into the crash, which is being described as the worst air disaster in 23 years since 9/11.

US President Donald Trump has blamed former President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party for the Washington plane crash.

Donald Trump claimed in a speech at the White House without providing evidence that the recruitment of all kinds of people in the Federal Aviation Authority could be responsible for this accident.

US President Donald Trump, while strongly criticizing and raising questions about the accident, said that the passenger plane was on the right path, why did the military helicopter not see the burning lights of the plane, why did the military helicopter not turn left and right instead of moving towards the plane even though the night was clear.

Trump stated that instead of asking the helicopter pilot if he could see the plane, why did the control tower not ask for emergency measures, the accident should have been prevented.

In addition, the US Secretary of Defense says that the military helicopter was on a training mission during which mistakes were made.
