Final of ICC Women's Under-19 T20 WC was played in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday
India defeated South Africa to win the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup.
The final of the ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup, in which the women's teams of India and South Africa competed, was played in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
In the final, the South African women's team won the toss and decided to bat first, but failed to score big in front of the Indian bowlers, and the entire South African women's team was bowled out for 82 runs in 20 overs.
The Indian women's team achieved an easy target of 83 runs in the 12th over for the loss of one wicket. Gongadi Trisha 44 and Sanika remained unbeaten with 26 runs.

Thus, the Indian women's team defeated South Africa by 9 wickets in the final and won the Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup title for the second time in a row.
The Indian women's team also won the ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup in 2023.
