Fog reigns in plains of Punjab, motorways closed

Lahore: Due to heavy fog in the plains of Punjab, the motorway was closed at several places.

According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, the M2 motorway from Lahore to Hiran Minar was closed, and the M3 from Faizpur to Samundri was closed. Traffic entry on the Lahore-Sialkot motorway M11 was also closed.

According to the statistics of the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to reach 10 degrees Celsius and the maximum to 22 degrees Celsius. The humidity in the air in the city has reached 98 percent. The wind speed in the city was recorded at five kilometers per hour.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of the country, while rain is likely in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Weather forecasters say that in the next 24 hours, clouds will rain in Quetta, Ziarat, Pishin, Kalat, Noshki, Godar, Turbat, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Kurram, and Bajaur.
