Pakistan, China agreed to further improve intelligence sharing


Beijing: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that they will buy modern technology and equipment for the police from China.
Mohsin Naqvi met his Chinese counterpart during his visit to China, in which it was agreed to further improve intelligence sharing.
In addition, cooperation for paramilitary forces to secure borders, as well as modern technology for police and paramilitary forces, were also discussed.
On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi stated that they would buy modern technology and equipment for the police from China. In the meeting, discussions were held on cooperation with the National Police Academy and it was also decided to increase cooperation between Beijing Police and Islamabad Police.
The Interior Minister also expressed satisfaction over the meeting of the Joint Working Group in January.
It is pertinent to note that the meeting between the Federal Interior Minister and his Chinese counterpart lasted two hours. Mohsin Naqvi also invited his Chinese counterpart to visit Pakistan.
