34 Pakistanis were deported for illegally entering and overstaying in Iraq


Islamabad: Another 139 Pakistani nationals were deported from 10 countries including Mauritania, Senegal, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar in the last 48 hours, out of which 15 were arrested in Karachi.
According to immigration authorities, 34 Pakistanis were deported for illegally entering and overstaying in Iraq, out of which two were handed over to Gujranwala police.
It is also reported that 24 nationals were deported from Oman for illegally entering the country. Out of which, one citizen’s name was on the Integrated Border Management System (IBMS) blacklist and was transferred to Anti Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC). At the same time, the other two were handed over to Larkana and Lahore administrations.
According to immigration officials, 14 people were deported from Saudi Arabia on blacklist, drugs, theft, without a passport, and other charges. Three people rescued from human trafficking were deported from Mauritania and two from Senegal, who the AHTC detained.
It is also reported that 31 Pakistanis, including 19 accused convicted in the UAE on charges of drugs, theft, overstaying, losing passports, and other charges, were deported.
In addition, eight Pakistanis were sent back from Malaysia for illegal immigration, nine citizens were deported from Addis Ababa and Qatar for violating residency laws, absconding, working illegally, or complaining about wages.
