Second match is being played at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore


Lahore: In the second match of the tri-series, South Africa set New Zealand a target of 305 runs to win.
In the match being played in Lahore, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl first against South Africa. In the stipulated 50 overs, the Proteas scored 304 runs against the Kiwis for the loss of six wickets.
Matthew Britzke set a new record in ODI cricket by scoring 150 runs on debut. Wayne Mulder scored 64 and Jason Smith scored 41 runs.
Kiwi bowlers Matt Henry and Will O'Rourke took two wickets each.
Speaking on the occasion of the toss, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner said that there has been a change in the team, Conway has been included in place of Rachan Ravindra.
South Africa's captain, Temba Bavuma, commented that had they won the toss, they would have chosen to field first. He mentioned that the team has some new players who are excited to play.
It is pertinent to note that in the first match of the Tr-Nation Series, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 78 runs.
New Zealand batted first and set Pakistan a target of 331 runs. The Pakistani team was bowled out for 252 runs.
