Horrific accident claimed lives of at least 55 people


In the Central American country of Guatemala, a passenger bus plunged into a ravine, resulting in at least 55 deaths and multiple injuries.
According to foreign news agencies, a passenger bus in Guatemala crashed through a safety barrier on a bridge and fell into a 20-meter-deep ravine on Monday. The horrific accident claimed the lives of at least 55 people.
The bus was carrying approximately 75 passengers. Among the deceased, there were 36 men and 15 women. The injured passengers were transferred to various hospitals, with many reported to be in critical condition.
According to the fire department, the driver lost control of the bus, which collided with several smaller vehicles before falling into the ravine.
