Cases have been registered against arrested suspects


Karachi: More than 2kg of ice was recovered in Karachi from a parcel bound for New Zealand.
According to the spokesperson of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), a crackdown against drug smuggling is underway in educational institutions and various cities of the country. In various operations, more than 26kg of drugs worth more than 2.7 million were recovered and two accused were arrested.
174 grams of hashish was recovered from the possession of a suspect near Teen Mila Chowk in Attock. The arrested suspect confessed to selling drugs to students of educational institutions. 2.4kg of ice was recovered from a parcel sent to New Zealand through a courier in Karachi.
An Afghan national was arrested after 24 kg of hashish hidden in a rickshaw near a hotel in the Pishin area of Balochistan. Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Narcotics Control Act and an investigation has been launched.
