Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir emphasized the importance of embracing "Pakistaniat" while addressing a group of university and college students from across the country. He praised the youth for their energy, creativity, and innovative ideas, calling them the "future leaders of Pakistan."
The army chief made these comments during an event where he encouraged students to excel academically and develop skills that would help them contribute to Pakistan's progress, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.
General Munir also spoke about the importance of understanding Pakistan's history, culture, and values for the intellectual growth of young people. He further discussed the challenges Pakistan faces from external threats, particularly trans-border terrorism.
The army chief highlighted the role of the Pakistan Army in protecting the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also acknowledged the sacrifices made by the people of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism and praised their strong support for the armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
