Ambassadors will give their opinions on the matches during event


Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) appointed former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed as Champions Trophy ambassador.
ICC has appointed ambassadors for the Champions Trophy 2025 scheduled in Pakistan, including Sarfaraz Ahmed, the captain of the 2017 Champions Trophy-winning Pakistani team.
The ICC has also appointed Shikhar Dhawan and Tim Southee as Champions Trophy ambassadors, while Australia's Shane Watson has also been appointed as the event's ambassador.
The ICC Champions Trophy ambassadors will give their opinions on the matches during the event.
In this regard, Sarfaraz Ahmed says: “I can never forget the moment of winning the Champions Trophy. After winning the 2017 Champions Trophy, the entire nation stood with us. The celebration of winning the Champions Trophy will always be close to my heart”.
Sarfaraz Ahmed stated that he is happy to see the return of the Champions Trophy to the cricket calendar and to host such a special event in Pakistan. This format means that every match is important in it, and he was eager to play his role as an ambassador.
Former Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan added that it is a special feeling for him to be the ambassador of the Champions Trophy. In the next few weeks, the best teams in world cricket will be seen competing for the white jacket. As a player, you know that every match, every ball is important in the Champions Trophy.
