Karachi: The Sindh cabinet has approved a five-year age relaxation for government jobs.
A meeting of the provincial cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, in which ministers, advisors, and secretaries participated.
It is reported that the Sindh cabinet approved the Universities and Boards Amendment Bill 2025.
Earlier, the Sindh Governor had objected to the bill and sent it back to the assembly, while the governor also objected to the appointments of heads in universities and boards.
In addition, the Sindh cabinet approved a five-year age relaxation for government jobs.
According to media reports, there was previously a 15-year age relaxation for government jobs, which was abolished.
