Operation took place in the general area of Sararogha, South Waziristan


Rawalpindi: At least 30 terrorists were killed by security forces in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) carried out in South Waziristan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the military's media wing said on Tuesday.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation took place on February 17, 2025, in the general area of Sararogha, South Waziristan, based on intelligence about the presence of Khwarij militants.
During the conduct of the operation, the security forces effectively engaged the terrorists' location, as a result of which, 30 were killed.
The ISPR further mentioned that a sanitization operation was underway to eliminate any remaining Khawarij in the area, emphasizing the security forces' commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
