Price of 24-carat pure gold per tola drops by Rs2,000, bringing it down to Rs307,000


(Web Desk): After reaching record levels across the country, the price of gold suddenly saw a significant decrease today.
All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) reported that the price of 24-carat pure gold per tola dropped by Rs2,000, bringing it down to Rs307,000.
Similarly, the price of 24-carat 10-gram gold saw a decline of Rs1,714, reaching Rs263,203, while the price of 22-carat 10-gram gold decreased by Rs1,571, selling for Rs241,278.
Meanwhile, the prices of silver also dropped, with per tola and per 10-gram silver decreasing by Rs38 rupees and Rs33, respectively, selling at Rs2,940.
The association reported that the global market price of gold per ounce fell by $23 dollars, reaching $2,930.
It is noteworthy that just yesterday, the price of 24-carat pure gold per tola had risen by Rs1,000, reaching a historic high of Rs309,000. Similarly, the price of 24-carat 10-gram gold had increased by Rs857, recording a price of Rs264,917.
