Third polio case reported in Pakistan this year

Karachi: The third case of polio has been reported in Pakistan this year.

According to the National EOC spokesperson, the third case of polio this year has been reported from Larkana, while this is the second polio case from Sindh this year.

The spokesperson said that 74 polio cases were reported in the country last year, out of which 27 were from Balochistan, 22 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 23 from Sindh.

In addition, one polio case was reported from Punjab and Islamabad each last year.
