Due to rain, electricity and communication systems were affected in Balochistan


Quetta: The westerly wind system entered Balochistan, after which most parts of the province including Quetta received heavy rain.
On Tuesday morning, heavy rain also fell in Chaman and its surroundings, while hail and snowfall occurred in the upper areas.
Due to the rain, electricity and communication systems were affected in several cities of Balochistan.
On the other hand, rain also fell in various cities of Punjab including Lahore, Multan, and Chichawatni, while clouds also rained in North and South Waziristan.
According to the Meteorological Department, the rain-bearing system is expected to continue until March 2. Rain is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, and snowfall is expected in the mountainous areas.
Light rain is expected in Larkana, Qambar Shahdad Kot, Jacobabad, and Sukkur of Sindh today and tomorrow.
