(Web Desk): The Pakistani rupee saw a small drop against the US dollar on Wednesday, losing 0.05% in the inter-bank market.
At the end of the day, the rupee settled at 279.87, down by Re0.10 from the previous day's closing rate of 279.77.
Meanwhile, the US dollar remained close to a three-month low against other major currencies, as new tariffs from the US and countermeasures from Canada and China raised concerns about an escalating trade war.
