BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla watched match and had tea at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium

Lahore: Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Rajeev Shukla, speaking at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, said that the Indian team does not rely on the pitch but plays based on its performance.
Rajeev Shukla watched the match and had tea at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
During his conversation with the media, Rajeev Shukla mentioned that the Indian team did not come to Pakistan due to the lack of government permission, adding that the hybrid model is effective, which is why matches are being played between the two countries.
He further stated that it is clear that cricket cannot be played between the two teams unless BCCI gets permission.
The Vice President of BCCI also said that it was great to visit Pakistan and that Pakistan is the host of the ICC Champions Trophy. He confirmed that the decision for the Champions Trophy final had already been made.
Rajeev Shukla added that it had been decided that India’s matches would be played in Dubai. The Indian team does not rely on the pitch but plays based on its performance.
The Vice President of the Indian Cricket Board mentioned that it was good to have an ICC tournament in Pakistan after a long time, and it was organized very well.
It is worth noting that Rajeev Shukla, Vice President of BCCI, arrived in Lahore yesterday to watch the second semi-final of the Champions Trophy between South Africa and New Zealand.
Indian media reported that Rajeev Shukla would stay in Pakistan for two days before returning to India on March 6.
