Electricity price for Karachi consumers has been reduced by Rs3 per unit


(Web Desk): The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has reduced the electricity price in the country under the monthly adjustment.
For Karachi consumers, the electricity price has been reduced by Rs3 per unit, while for the rest of the country, the price has been reduced by Rs2.12 per unit.
NEPRA has issued separate notifications for the reduction in electricity prices under the monthly adjustment.
The notification stated that consumers will receive relief in the form of a price reduction in the March bills. For K-Electric, the price reduction was made in the December 2024 monthly adjustment.
According to the notification, for the rest of the country, the price reduction was made in the January 2025 adjustment.
