CTD conducted 73 IBOs in different cities of Punjab


Lahore: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Punjab arrested 10 terrorists during Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) in different cities.
According to the CTD spokesperson, because of the concerns of terrorism, CTD conducted 73 intelligence-based operations in different cities of Punjab, and 10 terrorists were arrested.
The CTD spokesperson said that the operations were carried out in Rawalpindi, Toba Tek Singh, Khushab, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Bhakkarn and Jhelum. Two dangerous TTP terrorists were arrested from Khushab and Jhelum along with explosive materials.
According to the authorities, explosive materials, one IED bomb, 19 detonators, 35 feet of safety fuse wire, pamphlets, cash, and mobile phones were recovered from the terrorists.
The terrorists were identified as Riaz, Shafiq, Rashid, Javed, Zaheer, Zaheeruddin, Hafeez, Wazir, Asif, and Waheed.
