WhatsApp Business unveils new branding icon with plus sign
New icon is available only for WhatsApp Business

(Web Desk): WhatsApp Business has introduced a new branding icon that appears across various parts of the app, including the home screen, splash screen, and notifications.
The updated icon now features a plus sign, replacing the old version with a "B" in the center. This change is small but meaningful, symbolizing growth, expansion, and the wider reach of businesses using the platform. The update was spotted in the latest WhatsApp Business beta for Android (version 2.25.7.6), which is now available on the Google Play Store.
Although the new icon has a fresh design, the overall shape remains the same, ensuring it is still easily recognizable by users. The update reflects a more global perspective, highlighting WhatsApp Business's role in connecting businesses around the world.
It’s important to note that this update does not change the core features of WhatsApp Business. The tools that help small businesses communicate with customers, improve productivity, and streamline operations are still the same. The update only focuses on refreshing the app’s visual identity, so users will not experience any disruptions to their daily use of the app.
Currently, this new icon is available only for WhatsApp Business, and the WhatsApp Messenger icon has not changed. Users can get the new icon by installing the latest WhatsApp Business beta for Android, and it may be available for iOS users later.
