Laptop charged in few minutes with solar energy introduced
Laptop will be available in June 2025 for $3,499

Beijing: Chinese technology company Lenovo has announced a new concept laptop that can be charged with solar energy in 20 minutes.
According to a foreign news agency, the solar-powered laptop was announced at the recent Mobile World Congress, which will attract users to work from the sun instead of work from home.
According to the report, the company has not yet said anything about the production of the solar-powered laptop (Yuga Solar PC), but its ThinkBook Plus concept was initially presented at the Mobile World Congress in 2023, which will now be available in June 2025 for $3,499, but the laptop is currently just a concept.
According to the technology website, the laptop will be charged quickly by sunlight in 20 minutes, which can provide one hour of video playback.
The ultra-thin laptop will be just 15 mm thick and weigh less than 1.22 kg (about the same as 5 iPhones).
The laptop will have small solar panels installed on the back that can use light from any source to charge the battery, but like most solar-powered devices, will use sunlight.
The laptop will also feature the company's Dynamic Solar Tracking System, which will show how much current and voltage the solar panel is generating.
