Lahore: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's health has deteriorated and doctors have advised him to take complete rest.
According to details, the health of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has suddenly deteriorated. His physician examined him and advised him to take complete rest.
Doctors have also prohibited Nawaz Sharif from traveling by air so as not to put further strain on his health.
It is pertinent to note that in October 2019, the head of the medical board treating PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, who was undergoing treatment at Services Hospital in Lahore, had said that the former prime minister had suffered an angina attack.
According to media reports, Dr. Mahmood Ayaz, principal of the Services Institute of Medical Sciences, had denied the information that Nawaz Sharif had suffered a heart attack.
Later, the Lahore High Court (LHC) allowed former him, who had served seven years in prison in the Al-Azizia Steel Mill reference, to be sent to London for treatment, and he returned to Pakistan after almost four years, shortly before the last general elections.
