AG Punjab released salaries of govt employees through Micro Payment Gateway

Lahore: Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Accountant General (AG) Punjab, in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), released the salaries of government employees.
Following the instructions of the Controller General of Accounts, the AG Punjab, in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan, released the salaries of government employees through the Micro Payment Gateway (MPG).
This modern digital system transfers salaries to the bank accounts of employees immediately without any delay.
The Accountant General of Punjab says that the new digital system has not only increased convenience but also ensured transparency and speed.
